Representatives of Ukraine and Alliance discussed implementation of the NATO-Ukraine Platform to study the experience of combating the hybrid war in Ukraine
The Ukrainian delegation took part in the meeting of the Committee on Partnership and Collective Security in the format of the NATO-Ukraine Commission, which was held at the Alliance's Headquarters on 20 November 2017.
During the meeting, representatives of our state and the Alliance discussed the state of implementation of the tasks within the framework of the Platform.
The Ukrainian side informed the participants with the work that was being carried out in the direction of ensuring the Platform's activities in Ukraine, in particular, the organization of interagency coordination, preparation of practical projects within the framework of the Platform, including the publication of the scientific and journalistic work "White Book of Antiterrorist Operation in the East of Ukraine (2014 - 2016 years) ".
In its turn, the NATO side briefed on the work on developing a program on the sustainability of state institutions in hybrid warfare, carried out within the framework of the Program for the Professional Development of Civil Servants of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine, as well as the results of joint NATO exercises to protect critical electricity infrastructure in Ukraine.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to intensify work on establishing close cooperation between Ukrainian institutions and relevant NATO structures in the area of combating hybrid threats, accelerating the development of the draft Work Program of the Platform.
