Commissioner of the President of Ukraine, member of the Ukrainian Parliament and lider of the Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev visited the NATO HQ

This visit is one of the main activities undertaken by the Mission of Ukraine to NATO in Brussels in connection with the first anniversary of the beginning of Russian aggression against Ukraine and occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of our country.

Mr. M.Dzhemilev met with NATO Deputy Secretary General A.Vershbow and took part at a special meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission. Representatives of NATO member-states emphasized that Russia's annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will never be recognized by the civilized world and pledged their support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of our country in its internationally recognized borders.

Commissioner of the President of Ukraine Mr. M.Dzhemilev participate in political event in the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and met with the media.

Crimean Tatar leader has told the international community the truth about the sufferings of his people during the year of Russian occupation of his native land - Autonomous Republic of Crimea of Ukraine.

He also says that the preparation of constitutional amendments on the implementation of the goal enshrined in this Law  is now being completed: "We will submit a draft of the relevant amendments to the Constitution to the Ukrainian Parliament". The Head of State called this Law historic and said that the Ukrainian authorities, representatives of the defense and security sector, our international partners had been working on it for more than two years.
