Meeting of NATO-Ukraine Commission at ambassadorial level was held at NATO headquarters

The main aim of the event was the preparation to the NATO-Ukraine Commission meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers which is due to be held in Antalya (Turkey) on 13 May 2015. Director of Directorate General for International Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Shutenko and Director of the Central unit of the Security Service of Ukraine Vitaliy Naida took part in the meeting from Ukrainian side. 

The state of the security situation in Ukraine in the context of military aggression from Russia was reviewed during the meeting and views on expectations in this regard from the ministerial meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission in Antalya were exchanged.

Annual National Programme of NATO - Ukraine cooperation for 2015 were also presented.

He also says that the preparation of constitutional amendments on the implementation of the goal enshrined in this Law  is now being completed: "We will submit a draft of the relevant amendments to the Constitution to the Ukrainian Parliament". The Head of State called this Law historic and said that the Ukrainian authorities, representatives of the defense and security sector, our international partners had been working on it for more than two years.
