NATO and Ukraine agree on a cooperation plan for the next year in the framework of Alliance's programme "Science for Peace and Security"

The meeting of NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Scientific Cooperation was held at the NATO Headquarters.

The Ukrainian delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Maksym Strikha, included Advisor to the President of Ukraine for Humanitarian Affairs, MP Olga Bogomolets, Chairman of the Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, MP Lilia Grynevych, Vice-President of NAS of Ukraine Anatoliy Zagorodny.

During the meeting a wide range of issues of cooperation between NATO and Ukraine in the framework of Alliance's programme "Science for Peace and Security" was discussed.

He also says that the preparation of constitutional amendments on the implementation of the goal enshrined in this Law  is now being completed: "We will submit a draft of the relevant amendments to the Constitution to the Ukrainian Parliament". The Head of State called this Law historic and said that the Ukrainian authorities, representatives of the defense and security sector, our international partners had been working on it for more than two years.
