Ukraine and NATO discussed the draft Strategic Defense Bulletin

Special meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission was held at the NATO Headquarters with the participation of Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak.

During the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission Army General of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak briefed the representatives of the Allied countries on defense reform and the draft Strategic Defense Bulletin of Ukraine.

At the meeting of the Commission the plan of cooperation between NATO and Ukraine in reforming of the defense sector of our country for the period up to the Warsaw Summit was also outlined.

NATO will continue to provide full support Ukraine in developing its defense capabilities and strengthening the armed forces. At the same time, NATO has once again confirmed its position in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

He also says that the preparation of constitutional amendments on the implementation of the goal enshrined in this Law  is now being completed: "We will submit a draft of the relevant amendments to the Constitution to the Ukrainian Parliament". The Head of State called this Law historic and said that the Ukrainian authorities, representatives of the defense and security sector, our international partners had been working on it for more than two years.
