Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Peaceful Settlement of the Situation in Donetsk and Luhansk Regions Ms. Iryna Gerashchenko is going to visit the NATO HQ on 24 April 2015.

During her visit to the NATO Headquarters she will attend the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of the Committee on partnerships and collective security. As a result of the event, the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine will meet with media.

The institution of the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on the peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions was established by the Head of State on 17 June 2014. The Commissioner's task is to represent the position of the President on de-escalation of tension, achieving of social harmony and safety of citizens and the implementation of the peace plan of the President to resolve the situation in the east of our country.
