A regular meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on defence technical cooperation was held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
Ukraine was represented by the delegation led by Olexader Oliynyk, First Deputy of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The NATO delegation was led by Ernest Herold, Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment.
The representatives of Ukraine and NATO discussed the current state and prospects of defence technical cooperation in the areas of mutual interest. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Project of the NATO/PfP Trust Fund on Disposal of Conventional weapons, Light Ammunitions and Small arms, PFM-1-type anti-personnel mines in Ukraine, which is the largest in the world.
