On 11 March 2014 the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe Mr. Philip Mark Breedlove had a telephone conversation with the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mr. Mykhailo Kutsyn, during which they discussed the situation in Ukraine and further steps with the aim to de-escalate the situation.
