Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Yahun paid a working visit to NATO Headquarters.

During the visit, Mr. Yahun met with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Ambassador Thrasyvoulos Terry Stamatopoulos, Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges Dr. Jamie Shea, the leadership of the Intelligence Division of NATO International Military Staff, as well as in a number of Allied delegations.

During the meetings, the SSU Deputy Head informed the NATO side of the recent developments in Donetsk and Lugansk regions of our country and the course of anti-terrorist operation (ATO). The parties also exchanged views on the areas of the Alliance’s further practical support to Ukraine to strengthen its defence and security sectors.
