The visit of NATO experts to Ukraine for assessing of non-commissioned officers' training took place

For the purpose of evaluation and analysis of the existing system of training of non-commissioned officers' of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and preparation of appropriate recommendations to provide NATO assistance in this area, from 15 to 19 December 2014 the delegation of NATO experts visited Ukraine.

The delegation included the top officials experienced in NCOs education from Canada, USA, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Poland. The group of experts was led by Director of NATO's "Improving Military Education" (DEEP) Zh.d'Anduran and Alliance's Advisor in Ukraine on military education, former head of the National Defense University of Poland, general B.Patcek.

During the visit, the delegation visited the Military NCOs College, 184-th Training Center (Starychi village, Lviv region). 197-th NCOs Training Center (Desna village, Chernihiv region). The meetings in the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were held.

As a result of the visit the NATO experts prepared appropriate recommendations to provide NATO assistance to the training of NCOs in Ukraine.
