Ukrainian community in Belgium held a charity event "I am Maidan"

The event was organized be the NGO "Ukrainian Women in Belgium" and was held on 14 March in the premises of Polish Cultural Centre in Brussels. Its main objective was to collect the aid for the soldiers wounded in ATO.
Ukrainian social activists, representatives of diaspora, journalists, diplomats and Belgian MEP Marc Demesmeker took part in the event.
According to the organizers, one part of the collected funds will be donated to the needs of mobile military hospital Pirohov which deployed in the ATO area. Other part of the funds will be transferred to Saints Peter and Paul Garrison Church in Lviv, which takes care of wounded soldiers.
In the course of the event the charity tombola and the cultural program were held. Guests had the opportunity to taste the Ukrainian traditional dishes and drinks.
