Meeting of NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of the Partnerships and Cooperative Security Committee held at NATO HQ

The meeting was devoted to the issue of Ukraine-EU relations, especially on the implementation of the Association Agreement. Director of the Directorate General for the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine V.Chentsov took part in the meeting from the Ukrainian side.
The main attention was paid to the coordination of implementation of the Agreement, as well as the results of Eastern Partnership summit, held in the city of Riga on May 21-22.
In particular, V.Chentsov informed allies about the internal reforms ongoing in Ukraine and directly related to the process of European integration, as well as the main stages of Ukraine's progress towards obtaining a visa-free regime with the EU. During his speech V.Chentsov outlined a vision of the Ukrainian side of the prospects of the initiative "Eastern Partnership" in the context of the revision of the EU neighborhood policy.
The allies have shown full support for Ukraine's European aspirations and welcomed the Ukrainian government steps aimed at achieving the goals set by the Association Agreement with the EU.
