On 4-5 November 2015 the Trident Juncture 2015 Distinquished Visitor's day was held with the participation of the political and military leadership of NATO, Chiefs of Defence, Chiefs of Staff and heads of mission and military representatives of member countries and partners. The event officially kikked off the land and sea phases of the exercise.
Ukraine was represented by Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO ad interim Yehor Bozhok and Military Representative of Ukraine to NATO Anatolii Petrenko.
Aim of conducting of "Trident Juncture 2015" is to send a clear message to all NATO member-states and to any potential adversary that Alliance stands ready to defend all its Allies. The training is an important part of NATO’s long-term adaptation to a changed and new security environment.
