Ukraine and NATO "synchronize watches" on cooperation in the field of civil emergency planning

The 13th meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Civil Emergency Planning was held at NATO Headquarters.

The event was held under the co-chairmanship of the Head of the DSNS of Ukraine Mykola Chechetkin and Deputy Assistant of NATO Secretary General for Operations Francesca Tardioli.

During the meeting the sides discussed ways of strengthening of bilateral cooperation in that field in 2016. The head of the Ukrainian delegation thanked to NATO for providing Ukraine with humanitarian aid and for the assistance in the treatment and medical rehabilitation more than 320 Ukrainian soldiers who were wounded in the ATO zone in the medical institutions of the Member and Partner countries.

During the meeting the sides agreed to continue the cooperation aimed at further reforming of the civil protection of Ukraine in accordance with the NATO standards.
