Newly appointed Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly I.Friz met with Secretary General of the NATO PA D.Hobbs

The schedule of interactions till the end of this year and the format of participation of Ukrainian delegation in the Autumn session of NATO PA wich will be held in the city od Istanbul were agreed.
During the meeting I.Friz has informed D.Hobbs about the latest development of the security situation in the east of Ukraine and the specifics of the Minsk and Normandy processes.
In his turn D. Hobbs stressed the immutability of the position of the NATO PA on supporting Ukraine in its fight against illegal and aggressive actions of Russia and pro-Russian militants.
NATO PA has expressed its willingness to further strengthen its support to Ukraine. In this context, the next meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Interparliamentary Council was discussed.
