The results of the Autumn session of the Assembly were particularly endorsed in the reports: 1) "NATO after Warsaw Summit: deterrence for defence"; 2) "Ukraine's Two Wars: Protecting Independence And Implementing Real Reforms".

The main topics of discussion during the Assembly's session were growing Russia's aggression, including against Ukraine, and ways to counter this threat.

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly supported the position on recognition of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the Russian occupation of Crimea and its continued destabilization of certain regions of Eastern Ukraine. PA NATO clearly stated that Russia and its proxies are directly responsible for the violation of Minsk Agreements, “regime of silence” on East of Ukraine, and increasing militarization in annexed Crimea. NATO will strengthen its political support and will implement Comprehensive Assistant Package in order to enhance defence capabilities of Ukraine in conditions of on-going Russian aggression. For NATO the help for Ukraine is one of the main forms of deterrence of Russian aggressive behaviour.
