Representatives of NATO and Ukraine discussed the state of development of the draft Law of Ukraine "On National Security of Ukraine", which should become the basic legislative act in the field of national security and defense, as well as prospects for further development of the national system of cyber security of our state.
The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine O. Lytvynenko, who briefed the participants on the main provisions of the law, informed about the work on its elaboration, carried out jointly with NATO and EU experts, as well as mechanisms for its further implementation.
The Chairman of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine informed about the measures taken to implement the Cyber Security Strategy of Ukraine.
In their turn, the Allies called on the Ukrainian side to continue reforming the security and defense sector, reaffirmed the comprehensive political support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity in the fight against Russian aggression, as well as readiness to provide practical assistance to our country.
