The President expressed gratitude to NATO for the consistent political support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for the important practical assistance in countering the Russian aggression.

The Head of State informed the NATO Secretary General on the situation in the Donbas and the ongoing violation of the ceasefire by the Russian occupation troops.

The President confirmed that Ukraine continues the implementation of the course of Euro-Atlantic integration and actively reforms the security and defense sector according to the NATO standards. In this regard, they noted recent approval by the National Security and Defense Council of the draft law on the national security.

In the course of the conversation, the parties also discussed topical issues of further interaction within the Ukraine-NATO Commission.
