The meetings of the NATO political and partnerships committee with Ukraine devoted to the setting the anti-corruption policy in Ukraine was held at NATO headquarters.

Chief of division of anticorruption policy of Department for legislation, law endorsement and fight against crime Ministry of justice of Ukraine O.Smirnova briefed the delegations from NATO member-sates on the reforms in the sphere of prevention and counteracting corruption in Ukraine.

During the presentation O.Smirnova reported that the fight against corruption and illegally obtained money laundering, are among the main priorities of the President of Ukraine V.Yanukovych, as well as an important issue of the Annual National Programme for 2012. 

The participants of the meeting agreed that the adoption by Ukraine of anticorruption laws and their effective implementation will bring Ukraine closer to European standards to combat this problem.
