On October 2, 2025 Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Alyona Getmanchuk, together with Head of the Defence Section of the Mission, Oleksandr Buniak, visited the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) Headquarters in Luxembourg.
During the visit, Head of Ukrainian Mission met with NSPA General Manager Stacy Cummings and received detailed briefings from NSPA Director for Support to Operations Orhan Muratli and his team.
Discussions focused on exploring new ways for Ukraine to procure urgently needed equipment from NATO member states more rapidly and at larger scale with NSPA’s support, as well as creating opportunities for Ukrainian defence companies to present their products to Allies through the Agency.
Ukraine has been cooperating with the NSPA since 2001. Currently, this cooperation is developing in three main areas: procurement through the NSPA under the Comprehensive Assistance Package (CAP), procurement by NATO member states through the NSPA of essential equipment and resources for Ukraine, procurement within the framework of capability coalitions under the Ramstein format (IT coalition).
At the moment Ukraine’s cooperation with the NSPA is steadily deepening, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening defence capabilities and addressing urgent needs more effectively.
