Today, in the Port of Odesa, high-level officials from Ukraine and NATO concluded the NATO-Ukraine Table Top Exercise Coherent Resilience 2020 (CORE20). The Exercise was part of the Black Sea security package adopted by NATO Foreign Ministers in 2019.
Vice-Prime-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna and NATO Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges David van Weel welcomed the exercise. NATO representative underlined that this exercise will help Ukraine to be better prepared and more resilient to hybrid attacks against its critical infrastructure. “It will make Ukraine safer and it will make NATO safer.”
Representatives from 15 NATO and partner countries participated in the exercise. Training audience consisted of around 100 experts from Ukrainian state, regional and local bodies.
