On 19-20 May 2021, the Main Planning Conference of the NATO-Ukraine Tabletop Exercise “Coherent Resilience” takes place in Kyiv, Ukraine.

During the event co-chaired by the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, representatives of relevant ministries and institutions of Ukraine, the NATO International Staff, the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats, the US Naval Postgraduate School will discuss the further preparation of the Table Top Exercise, including the scenario, timelines and evaluation process.

The main event – Table Top Exercise “Coherent Resilience” – is scheduled to take place in September 2021 in Odesa, Ukraine.

The exercise is part of the April 2019 decision of NATO Foreign Ministers to increase their support to Ukraine against the background of challenges in the Black Sea region. The exercise will be held under the auspices of the NATO-Ukraine Platform on Countering Hybrid Warfare. Its goal is to support the Ukrainian national authorities in enhancing their resilience against hybrid threats.
