Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the NATO Support and Procurement Organization on Support Cooperation was signed on 27 April 2015 at NATO Headquarters.
From the Ukrainian side the Agreement was signed by Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Ambassador Ihor Dolhov, from the NATO side - General Manager of the NATO Support and Procurement Organization Mr. Michael J. Lyden.
Signing of this international agreement creates a legal framework for practical cooperation between Ukraine and NATO in the framework of trust funds on reform of logistics and standardization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the physical rehabilitation of soldiers wounded in anti-terrorist operations in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
In addition, the Agreement provides the opportunities for Ukraine to participate in cost-effective projects with NATO on the logistical support of troops, as well as the development, production, procurement, upgrades, storage and disposal of military products.
