Parents' Committee of the Brussels European School organizes the Day of school on permanent basis. The national stands present the culture, works of art and handicrafts, traditional cuisine of its countries to the students and their families during the event.

Funds collected during the Day of school as usual are used to finance the charitable projects. This year, at the initiative of the Polish section of the Brussels European School, it was decided to support the project in Ukraine. That is why Polish diplomats in Brussels and the Mission of Ukraine to NATO organized a special Ukrainian stand where the Ukrainian children presented Ukraine to their peers from other European countries. The collected funds will be spent to support an orphanage in the city of Zaluchia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine.

Brussels European School - the network of educational institutions of 1-3 levels established for the education of the children of the diplomats from EU institutions and the diplomats from the missions of the EU Member States.
