During the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission Minister S.Poltorak informed about the current military and political situation in our country. NATO Secretary General J.Stoltenberg has said that NATO will continue to support Ukraine in order to restore its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During their speeches NATO defense ministers unanimously condemned Russia's actions, which illegally annexed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of Ukraine and continues to destabilize eastern territory of our country.
It was confirmed the intentions to continue pressure on Russia in order to compel it to return under international law, reject of the annexation of the Crimea and destabilization of Donbass .
In its turn the Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to NATO for significant political and practical support.
Special attention was paid to the results of the reform of the security and defense sphere of Ukraine and agreed on further ways of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO in that direction.
