During July-August, NATO technical experts are to adjust the water purification equipment and prepare it for remediation operations. At the same time, a group of Ukrainian specialists will get the training and skills necessary to operate this equipment in future.

The practical phase of the project will start in September 2015 on the site of one of the military units in Kyiv.

After the completion of the remediation project, the ownership of the treatment equipment will be transferred to the Institute of Geological Sciences, NAS of Ukraine.
