President Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The Head of State praised strong political support and important practical aid of NATO.
In his turn, the NATO Secretary General praised the approval of annual National Program of Ukraine-NATO Cooperation for 2016. The Ukrainian President called this document important for the implementation of the complex of reforms that bring the country closer to the NATO standards.
The President informed on the situation in Donbas and the non-fulfillment of the Minsk agreements by Russia.
The parties discussed the opportunity of increasing the interaction between Ukraine and NATO in the sphere of reforming the Ukrainian security and defense sector in the context of the NATO Summit that will be held in Warsaw this summer.
