The focus during this meeting was paid to the security situation in eastern Ukraine and the Black Sea region.

General H.Akar assured that the Turkish side considers maintaining partnership relations with Ukraine as one of the strategic priorities of the national foreign policy.

While at NATO Headquarters Chief of Staff of Ukraine also met with Chiefs of Staff of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, South Korea and the United States.
