Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO ad interim met with the NATO Deputy Secretary General

Yehor Bozhok and Alexander Vershbow discussed topical issues of NATO-Ukraine agenda, in particular results of the Warsaw Summit and outcome of the discussion of the Ukrainian issue at yesterdays NATO-Russian Council.

NATO reiterated its unwavering and consistent support of Ukraine in difficult times of countering Russian aggression, as well as in broader context – on the path of reforms according to Euro-Atlantic standards.

Alexander Vershbow also admitted, that after the recent meeting of NATO-Russian Council, the fundamental divergences with Russia on Ukrainian issue still remain.
