All 28 NATO members unanimously express support for Ukraine

In connection with the new spiral of Russia's aggression against Ukraine the extraordinary meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission was held at the NATO HQ.

During the meeting Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO ad interim Yehor Bozhok informed allies about the situation and Ukraine's assessment of future plans of the Kremlin.

In its turn, the Allies emphasized that NATO clearly understood that the latest escalation was provoked by Russia and its militants. NATO has expressed its concern with the fact that the victims of attacks militants are not only soldiers, but also civilians in populated areas Avdeevka, Sartana, Shyrokino and others. Allies expressed condolences to Ukraine on the loss of numerous soldiers and civilians.

NATO also stressed that for such Russia's actions against Ukraine there couldn't be the talks about the returning to "business as usual" with the Kremlin and lifting of the sanctions. NATO will strengthen the political pressure on Russia. Security situation in Ukraine will remain one of the top priorities of NATO agenda during its contacts with Russia.
