On 23 and 24 July 2019 the representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Interior of Ukraine together with the represantatives of the NATO International Secretariat, NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats, and the US Naval Postgraduate School met in the NATO HQ to discuss the preparation of the Tabletop Exercise “Coherent Resilience 2020” to be held in Ukraine in 2020.

The exercise is part of the package of actions related to the Black Sea endorsed by the NATO Foreign Ministers in Washington D.C. on 4 April 2019.

The Table-top exercise “Coherent Resilience 2020” is aimed at furthering the capabilities of Ukrainian national and local authorities in enhancing resilience in light of hybrid risks to critical infrastructure and energy systems through effective inter-agency coordination and public-private cooperation. The Initial Planning Conference is scheduled to take place in October 2019 in Kyiv.
