6 September 2012, the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Missions of Ukraine to EU and NATO held a ceremonial event on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Independence of Ukraine in the hall of festive events of the city of Brussels «Cercle Gaulois».

Representatives of federal and regional governments of Belgium, the diplomatic corps, EU institutions and NATO came to congratulate the Ukrainian state. Representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, business, cultural and religious communities, NGOs and the media were also among numerous guests.

As part of the solemn event, a concert of a well-known Ukrainian group - string trio «Harmony» took place due to assistance of state authorities of Dnipropetrovsk region; it was enthusiastically received by the audience.
