On September 29, 2020 Charge d’Affaires a.i. of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO Georgiy Tolkachov spoke at the panel discussion "Partners with Benefits: NATO’s Enhanced Opportunities Program", organized by the Brussels branch of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy with the support of NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division.

Ukraine considers its participation in the EOP as another step that brings us closer to the interoperability with NATO. Georgiy Tolkachov noted that awareness, resilience and partnership are the foundation on which our mutually beneficial cooperation with NATO is built today. Modern threats are global, cross-border in nature and cannot be addressed by the efforts of one country or even a group of countries. Partnership and joint efforts with countries that have similar values and adhere to the similar principles double our opportunities.

Georgiy Tolkachov shared the debate with Ambassador of Sweden to NATO Axel Wernhoff and NATO's Director for Security Policy and Partnerships Mr. James Mackey.
