The Ukrainian Navy Frigate Hetman Sagaidachny with a group of special forces and a helicopter on board fell under operational control of the Commander of NATO’s counter-piracy Operation Ocean Shield.

According to the plan, Ukrainian contingent is currently engaged in performing tasks of the Operation Ocean Shield in a designated area of the Gulf of Aden (220 miles east of the Port of Djibouti).
