On 15 October, reacting to signal for help, medical group of the Ukrainian Navy Frigate Hetman Sagaidachny saved the life of the captain of the civilian ship Barwaha, who had cardiac arrhythmia, by providing emergency medical care.

 Note : on 12 October, frigate Hetman Sagaidachny started performing her tasks within NATO’s counter-piracy Operation  Ocean Shield in the Gulf of Aden and started patrolling with naval ships from the U.S., Denmark and the Netherlands.
