On 25 October 2013, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Science and Environment was held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.

The Ukrainian delegation consisting of representatives of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine, Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and Mission of Ukraine to NATO participated in the meeting. NATO side was represented by NATO International Staff experts.

During the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to joint projects within the framework of NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme, the implementation of the Annual National Programme of NATO-Ukraine cooperation for 2013 in the sphere of science and environment. The participants also outlined prospective areas of future mutually beneficial cooperation in this area.
