The NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s 87th Rose-Roth Seminar: “Eastern Europe: New Political and Security Challenges” kicks off today (14 October).
The Rose-Roth program was initiated in 1990 by former Chairman of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Senator U.Roth (USA) and former Congressman Ch.Rose (USA). The main objective of the program is to conduct seminars, conferences and other forums related to issues of Central and Eastern Europe.
Main topics of this year's seminar devoted to the development of events in Eastern Europe, the new geopolitical landscape and challenges, with a special focus on the situation in Ukraine.
Ukraine at this year's Rose-Roth Seminar represents the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine headed by the Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine on European integration I.Kabanenko.
The event brings together over 170 participants including 65 parliamentarians from 20 NATO member and partner countries, officials, academics and civil society representatives.
