The completion ceremony of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan took place at NATO headquarters

On 17 December 2014, the last meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the ambassadorial level in the format of former and current contributors to the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) was held at NATO Headquarters

During the event, it was announced about the completion of ISAF and launching of the new training and advisory mission in Afghanistan "Resolute Support".

All participants stated indisputable success of ISAF and emphasized the importance of further support to the Afghan government.
