The new draft Annual National Program of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO for 2013 was presented during the meeting of NATO policy and partnerships committee with Ukraine in NATO HQ.
Ukrainian delegation headed by Director of the Department of International Security and Disarmament at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleksandr Aleksandrovych consisted of representatives of the central authorities, including the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
During the meeting the head of the Ukrainian delegation informed the representatives of the Alliance on the main tasks of Annual national program for 2013. Special attention was paid to informing Allies on the specific steps of the leadership of our country to implement comprehensive internal reforms.
The sides noted the success of joint efforts to further practical content constructive partnership between Ukraine and NATO. It was confirmed the mutual interest to continue political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation. The main emphasis was placed on the Ukrainian side intention not only to continue practical cooperation between NATO and Ukraine, but also restore the political dialogue at the highest level.
After the meeting members of the Ukrainian delegation met with representatives of Ukrainian mass media accredited to NATO headquarters.
